The guy who owned the house before Summer and I bought it had a basic little set up to sleep and “take care of business” while he was down here working on it (he was a contractor from New Jersey). He was much more hard core than Summer and I. As soon as we saw this little portable toilet it needed to vacate the premises. We never used it, but for some stupid reason it never made it past the front porch. Here is a picture of me putting it to good use while chillin’ in the hammock. Gross.

hehe….I have your monkey. Holding for ransom.
haha. Thanks for watching Monkey for us. She is a good girl but might be a bit high maintenance for Rancho Robin. Careful with her and other dogs and don’t forget that she prefers to sleep up by the pillows on the bed at night.
The plan is that when I let my dogs out, I will first put Monkey in Kuda’s crate inside the horse maternity ward. (hmmmm, someone brought her crate but forgot to put it in my car when we met) That way no fence fighting. Gary knows the plan now. She really wanted to stalk and go for the horses so I guess she won’t be going out without a leash. Wonder what she would do, just clamp onto their face? And for pillows, I threw a couple in for her and they have LOTS of new pine shavings.
I was just kidding about the pillow thing…I was hinting that she should sleep with you!
She’ll love the time outside. As long as they are hanging out, Kuta and Monkey are happy together.
I don’t think she was stalking the horses. She gets so excited when she sees them that she wants to play. BUT, she has never played with horses and will probably get kicked trying to lick their face!
A leash is probably a good idea…she listens to Summer and I very well but she is a spoiled ‘bitch’ and may not listen to you guys.
I know, I know about the hint for her to sleep on the bed…. so my compromise was to throw a couple pillows in with her! haha. Things went well today. My dogs did notice the black shadow in the crate as they were romping with Kuta looking for the tastiest and freshest horse poop!
I just talked to Summertime and she is getting on the plane in NY right this moment.
I am so excited you y’allses’ (I remember that word when I was a Texan) adventure. You really took that halloween costume seriously and I am amazed at all you have done and can do and look to be enjoying your new home. Summer comes armed with a Bday Home Depot card….maybe fans or small ac on the way.
