If you were learning Spanish in Spain, you’d also learn the 2nd person plural form: aprendeis… but, of course, here in America Latina, they don’t use it. Perhaps a cause for celebration: one less person to learn?
Anyway, whenever learning Spanish (my 7th language) I automatically fall into my (European) highschool routine of 4 years of Latin - with an emphasis on grammar…. and every time I get to where should be that forgotten 2nd person plural, I stop, confused. So I got me now a real, that is Spanish Spanish, not Latin American Spanish grammar book with that darn 2nd person. Swearing our European superiority complex
