La Palabra del Dia
Author: Summer | Filed under: Puerto Rico, Spanish
The Spanish word of the day is: Cascasda, which means “waterfall”.
Cascada is “waterfall” in Spanish. It’s actually a small waterfall, a large waterfall is a “catarata”.
Example of how to use “cascada”:
En mi cumpleaño, Stefan, Josh y yo fui a la catarata – On my birthday, Stefan, Josh and I went to the waterfall.

smooth. My word of the day is “tranquilo”. Here is an example when a girl is acting up: Hey chica…tranquilo.
¡feliz cumpleaños!

That’s actually a pretty good slang way to say “chill”.
