Trying to envision the house complete is much harder than I thought now that I have been in there working everyday. We are ready to tile the guest bath and get the entire guest side of the house up and ready to go so we can live in a completed part of the house while we finish the rest of it. While Brian was down here he suggested we do river rock floors in the bathrooms and travertine walls. Here are some pictures to give you an idea of what we may do.

Super cool! I love it. I think the travertine should come down the wall into one row on the floor (around the perimeter of the room) and then the riverrock for the rest of the floor…
it is nearly impossible to tell that those are 12” tiles from the pictures, those tiles would fill half the bathroom, but i think a smaller border of the same travertine on the floors with the river rock floor would be sweet.
I bet the boarder would square up the room and keep it looking more organized with all that crazy river rock all over the place!

Looking good. I’ve always like the floor in the bathroom in Kill Bill, the place where the Crazy 88 get chopped up. It look to me like concrete with rocks and stuff embedded in it. Sorry, couldn’t find a picture of it.
