What? You had no idea?
If there were surf I don’t think we would be making so much progress so fast, but it’s flat, it’s hot and there isn’t anything else in the world I would rather be doing than finishing our house.
It does seem like I need to post pictures more often, but this was just a stage that really pulled everything together. We have been posting pictures of all our projects but they were all basically setting us up to be able to close up the walls so we couldn’t really see the progress. From there, it was drywall time.
From here, things will probably slow down a little bit… except for finishing the guest bath, we should be done that next week. The rest of the major stuff is finishing work, much of which we will be contracting out to professionals.
We still have to get(and find) a granite guy to come in and size up the hot tub, Tray needs to sand the walls, then we prime the walls in the master bedroom bedroom, get the back door for the porch and begin getting our Kitchen cabinets made.
Oh, and we’re still waiting on Electricity. It’s been four weeks since we paid for the poles and instalation.
“Wow” is right! Starting to look like a home.
Did you seal the ceiling and glue lam beams? We used Diamond Verathane water base but there is an oil base as well but oil causes slight yellowing.
