Today Stefan and I went to Sears and picked out our appliances for the kitchen. We went with the Kenmore Elite line in stainless steel and bought our refridgerator, stove, microwave/hood and dishwasher.

We really were trying to NOT go with stainless steel, but the only stove that Stefan wanted only came in stainless, sooooooo….Cie la vie.
I feel poor now :). Appliances are quite expensive, but Sears was having a 20% cash back deal, if you bought 3 appliances priced over $399. So we bought the stove, microwave/hood, refridgerator, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and an airconditoner. We spent $7500, but we get $1500 cash back. So, $6000 for (fairly) top of the line appliances, isn’t too bad.

Looks nice. Is your stove Propane or Natural Gas? What is available in PR? We had to have out NG stove and NG dryer converted to Propane which there should be a kit if you need. Is oven gas or electric?
Everything we got was duel fuel…both propane and natural gas. But now that you mention it, Summer and I were so spun out on the other purchases, we never specified that we wanted a propane dryer…we’ll call today and make sure. Thanks for the reminder!
Looks like things are coming along nicely. Place looks great man. Isn’t that the stuff from Top Chef…nice
Apparently baby oil is supposed to be good for removing smudges from stainless steel.
Don’t know if mosquitoes would stick to the baby oil though?
