Summers Flight to San Diego

Author: Stefan | Filed under: Travel

Summer left early this morning (we left for the Aguadilla airport at 4:00am EST) to head back to San Diego for a few weeks for work. It was a hard good bye. It was great to spend two weeks straight with her…we have only been able to hang out together for a couple days at a time since April.

Shawn, her brother, called looking for her flight number and arrival information. Of course, her flight was delayed out of the JFK airport by about 2 hours. She is scheduled to arrive 2 hours late. While I was there checking on the status of the flight, I saw a link that said “view map”. I clicked on it and it showed me exactly where her plane was at that very moment. It refreshes every couple of seconds. Really cool stuff.

We flew down here for 10 days and got in touch with a few different real estate offices and put them to work. This place was definately a diamond in the rough…but there are good finds all over the place if you look hard enough.

What’s up with the stupid JFK airport?! It is always a clusterfuck. This last time I sat on the tarmack for 2 hours while they tried to reset the navigation (it said we were still in Puerto Rico). It was reminesent of the issues that I’ve have with Microsoft Windows…

Pilot – “Well, we’ve tried turing the software off and back on again, but it still insists that we are in Puerto Rico. We’re going to try turning off one of the engines and see if they helps…”

How much you want to bet that their navi is windows based?
