Front Yard Excavation
We are leveling off a decent part of the slope that is in front of our house.

This is going to help with drainage issues. The property slope causes water to flow right into the side of the house, which can be bad since the 1st floor is partially underground. So, this new excavation will allow us to plant a lush front yard and grass and the water flow will be directed away from the house. Two birds with one stone, baby…

And finally some video (it is very exciting to watch)

That video is actually really cool to watch! No wonder boys like tractors…

Oh, man….Gary would LOVE to play with that toy! That is the kind of stuff he did for 30+ years. Mostly giant Cat scraper mountain movers, though.

Conner….if you look to the right of the pictures, you’ll see the slop turn and head down the hill towards the house. This is where we have the $3,000 in copper wire hanging out 6ft deep waiting for the electric company to install our meter. We didn’t go anywhere near it…not worth the risk.
