Let There Be LIGHT!
Stefan just called and the electric company has finally flipped the switch and given our house electricity. Yay! Just in time for the hurricane that is supposed to hit on Saturday and that will probably knock out the power…

that is the joke now, they turned the power on just in timed for us to loose power. During the build up to the hurricane, everyone was saying they were worried about loosing power. I was laughing, cause we didn’t have any power to loose! But now, FINALLY we do. I am posting this blog entry from the house on my laptop using my T-Mobil Pearl as a modem.
The winds from the hurricane started blowing on the windward side of the island around 12:00pm, but we didn’t feel any of it in our valley until just a few hours back. I am still going to sleep on the porch tonight…if it was a bad idea, I’ll tell you about it tomorrow.
