I just booked our reservations at the El San Juan Hotel and Casino for Halloween. We will be checking in on 10/31 for a 2 night stay.
I’m trying to find out if Club Brava (the club inside El San Juan Hotel) will be open on Halloween, since Halloween falls on a Wednesday this year. Club Brava (formerly known as Club Babylon) is normally only open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I would imagine that it will be open on Halloween, but I want to make sure so I can arrange for other party plans if it is not. I tried calling the hotel to ask, but the front desk is not picking up. I did a little internet snooping and it looks like Empire Entertainment manages the club, so I emailed them to see what’s up for Halloween…We shall see.
Now comes the hard part…Picking out a costume! I’m thinking I will be either a nutcracker or the Queen of Hearts, but I’m sure I’ll change my mind 10 times before I make a choice :).
So now that the date is set in stone, who’s coming with?! Flights are pretty damn cheap from San Diego ($189 each way on JetBlue), so I don’t want to hear any excuses ;). Also, if you’d rather stay at a less expensive hotel, we can find one close to the El San Juan, just let us know.
