Aimee:
We installed our tankless hot water (on-demand) for the entire house. It is mounted outside and has a direct hook-up to our propane.

Somehow, during installation, we didn't notice that the remote control actually needs to be hard-wired to the heater (we lost that wire) so it is set on the factory pre-set (the lowest temp) so we aren't really sure how hot it gets, but I can tell you this; it takes a minute for the hot water to make it all the way up to the shower...but once it gets there you could shower for an hour and not run out of steam.

we are going to get a tankless water heater soon since we have to replace the one we have (a regular one). it's good to hear from someone who is actually using one! did you install it for your whole house? or is this one just for your shower?

Katrina - You are lucky. What I wouldn't give for some decent water pressure...We're trying to think of the most cost effective way to fix the crappy water pressure that we currently have. It's fairly useless to have three showers in the house if you can only use one at a time, don't ya think? ;) Oh well, at least we have hot water for now.

We moved here from WA state about 3 weeks ago and got hot water yesterday! Anyone with a lot of hair needs water pressure and heat...got a latex wad in my hair yesterday collecting semilla de pan (seed breadfruit) and climbing the gobo tree...Our heater runs on the LPG the stove uses. Very nice....

What the inline heater does is maintain your tub temp so that you don't have to keep draining some water and refilling to keep it hot. I will let you know if my master bathroom EVER gets finished and I can try my tub. Luckily I have my outside hot tub which yesterday I enjoyed 3 times! I love it.

Robin - You have a regular hot water heater, right? The tankless on demand hot water heaters never run out of hot water (which is pretty cool! But it would probably be more economical to get an inline heater? Yo no se...)

Rosa - I love Pineapple Hill! I will look for your house next time we go to the English Rose (probably Sunday). We actually looked to buy a house in Pineapple Hill when we were shopping for a home. In Pineapple Hill, we checked out that new orange house with a few acres that I think is still for sale.

Summer, my house is close to the English Rose, we are the only house in Pineapple Hill. It is a light green house. We are coming home in two weeks! The last time we were there, we went horse backriding with Cindy, what a great experience. You must try it if you haven't done so yet.

For jetted tub in your master, do you think you can get enough hot water fast enough to fill? We put an inline heater under our jetted tub so that it will stay hot as water circulates. It is a common thing to do for people that like to hang out in tub for LONG periods of time like someone that I know. And the part is fairly cheap. Just has to be done as before tub is permanently set. ;-)

Rosa - I'm actually very surprised at how well the tankless water heater produces nice hot water! Especially since it's so small. I also found out that we can turn up the heat with the remote, so I absolutely love it now. Now, I just have to figure out what to do with the extra space in the bathroom that we were going to put a standard hot water heater in...

What color green is your house and where is it in relation to Sector Vargas? I think there are a few green houses on the 413 :).
