Since the upstairs flooring has been laid, we decided to set up the living room set that was delivered a few weeks ago (and has since been sitting in huge boxes in Stefans office). Here is the dark brown leather couch and chair we got at Rooms To Go in Mayaguez:
We picked up the carpet at the Marshalls Mega Store (they have a great selection!) in San Juan and the TV came from the Costco in San Juan.
I can’t even tell you how nice it is to have a comfortable place to lounge! Before the couch, we would either be sitting at our desks, on a bucket or in the hammock, which isn’t very social friendly…
In our quest for decent furniture in/around Rincon, we’ve found the two best places to be Sears and Rooms To Go, both in Mayaguez.

Thanks! I love our couch. It’s hard to find a comfortable, stylish, leather couch, but we totally lucked out on this one! It really is SO nice to be comfortable for once…
And yes, Robert, Costco is SO awesome. I just wish that there was one closer to Rincon. We have a Sams Club close, but it’s not nearly as nice as Costco. Sams Club doesn’t even have flats of Redbull…(we bought two 24 packs when we were at Costco, but that didn’t last nearly as long and I thought it would.)…But, I guess that gives us an excuse to hang out in San Juan for a couple of days. I’m almost ready for another San Juan trip!
Summer, if you don’t feel like going the San Juan route Costco is also in Caguas, take the scenic Southern route to Caguas then take rte #30 and you will see Costco on the right hand side. There is also a very large mall in Caguas that you might like.
