St. Patrick’s Day in Puerto Rico
Author: Stefan | Filed under: Culture, Puerto Rico
Does anyone know if Puerto Rico celebrates the ‘non-religious’ side of St. Patrick’s day? Just to clarify that, I know that it is celebrated in the churches here, but do local Puerto Rican bars (not tourist bars) dye the beer green, hang four leaf clovers and discount Bushmills and Jameson shots?

Well, there are two Irish pubs in the metro area that celebrates St. Patrik’s day, Logan’s and Shannon’s, plus a parade and some fireworks at “San Patricio Plaza” in Guaynabo.
Aside from that I don’t think there’s anything else…

They typically don’t here, as far as I could tell. Shannan’s Irish Pub in Guaynabo is doing something, but I think it’s mandatory given that they’re an irish pub
