I Think (Hope) I Fixed the Comments Problem?
Author: Summer | Filed under: Family/Friends
So, we’ve been having some stupid issue with comments not coming through on this blog and I think I may have fixed it. Basically anyone that used “http” in their comment or filled in the “website” box was getting mistakenly blacklisted. My bad! Please email us if you have any problems posting comments or if you see that they never show up (or anything else for the matter). Thank you!!

Well, let’s see if this posts! The midnight cow rampage is pretty typical – it is always at night after everyone tries to sleep! When we had horses up top the horse people would move them from place to place “after hours” and it seems every horse is called “woog.” It always set off all the dogs in the neighborhood – barkfest. We had a horse look right at me, pull up a palm, and run like hell! Living in Puerto Rico is like living in a movie! katrina

We’ve had horses in the middle of the road, and cows – the really big ones that look contained during the day! I’ve had geese, turkeys, ducks and of course there are always 30 – 40 chickens on the property but the really big animals wandering around on their own are just plain weird. We booted the horses out (they messed up the land) and strung 4 rows of barbed wired with one really high and one really low. We are putting chain link so invaders that could walk in from our neighbor’s driveway or the other neighbors yard just can’t get past. Now I can enjoy the clippity clop of horse feet in the night and know that that moos aren’t as close as they seem and that all my really hard work in the yard isn’t gonna disappear in one night/bite. katrina

YEAH.. one more day and we leave this sub zero mess in NJ.

Woohoo! Linda, welcome back! Sorry about the comment snafu, it really was a stupid mistake on our part and I’m bummed that we can’t even retrieve the “blacklisted” comments. Quick question for you…What sort of taxes did you have to pay on importing your Element? I’ve heard that the import tax on vehicles is astronomical.

Summer,
they hammered us. It cost $1300.00 to ship it (not bad)! and then $2400.00 in taxes!
It was still worth is since our Element has only about 50,000 mile on it and is in great shape. The real mess was registering it. At departmento de hacienda they forgot to stamp our papers. This resulted in an all day run around, but we laughed… no es fasi!
(and Bob got 1 surf session in before the madness)
