I've had geese, turkeys, ducks and of course there are always 30 - 40 chickens on the property but the really big animals wandering around on their own are just plain weird. We booted the horses out (they messed up the land) and strung 4 rows of barbed wired with one really high and one really low. We are putting chain link so invaders that could walk in from our neighbor's driveway or the other neighbors yard just can't get past. The midnight cow rampage is pretty typical - it is always at night after everyone tries to sleep! When we had horses up top the horse people would move them from place to place "after hours" and it seems every horse is called "woog." It always set off all the dogs in the neighborhood - barkfest.
