Yesterday, Gary came and bleached and powerwashed the entire house. Today, they started cutting in. The blue WAY brighter than I imagined when picked out the swatch…but I think it looks good.

So will the bottom be a different shade of blue or a different color or the same color? Are you going wild with trim color (not sure if there are just gutters or if there is trim)? It is so fun to not have a barf brown house…I love the color! Blue is a soothing, happy color that will merge with the sky!

The house looks nice. What is it in the back, is it a balcony? I’m curious about the first floor, do you use it?

Van: The yard is getting there. It was even cleaner before we started working on the outside again. Once we are done painting we have the back deck. Then its time for a final cleaning!

Carol: There is an outdoor dining room that we haven’t used yet, but eventually we will be building out a back deck and use it all!

Katrina: We are not sure what color to paint the bottom. For now, to save money, we are just going to put on a white concrete primer (which will match all the white trim) and decide if we are going to keep it white or paint it a color.

Nice color! The house might be enhanced with your blue flamboyan (or Jacaranda Tree) planted as a specimen.
