I am interested in relocating back to PR. I have been living in ATL for the past 15 years. I miss the Island. But, I am afraid of the move. So much people have been telling me not to move because of the social situation going on in Island right now. Economically I would be ok (my collegues are doing great in PR), but socially ...I don't know if it would be a good place to raise 4 girls. I'd appreciate your thoughts. Hi guys,

I would recommend carambola, quenepa and aguacote as the trees you cannot live without. I don't like the star fruit raw, but I love it cooked or cut up in things instead of celery. Hack it into quarters and cook it with chicken or simply saute it with brown sugar and balsamic vinegar. Use it instead of apples...it holds up much better. Bake carambola, almonds and boneless chicken pieces together and it is just great and it blooms and fruits all the time...at least 3 or 4 fruit cycles a year. Eneidas is the place to go for grafted fruit trees and to purchase unusual fresh fruit (when they have it). I think I'll go pick a few right now... Carambola is GREAT!
