Great news everybody!

Summer and I received an email last month notifying us that I was named the successor of a long lost uncle that has been living in Nigeria since World War II (go figure). Although we were sad to hear of his untimely departure, we were notified by his Nigerian representative that in his will he left us his interests in a huge diamond mine. Njora has informed us that it is a very sizable operation and worth tens of millions of dollars. However, Summer and I are not greedy and have decided to sell our inherited shares quickly at a very discounted price to a buyer that the Nigerian representative (Njora) will put us in contact with.

With the $7.3 million dollars that Njora’s buyer has offered, we have decided to leave the fast pace lifestyle of California for the slower tropical environment of the Caribbean. We scraped together our entire life savings and initiated the transfer of $10,000 to the Nigerian Bank in order to get the ball rolling on our inheritance and subsequent sale of the business to Njora’s business contact.

As you can imagine, we are both extremely excited about his. As a matter of fact, we have already put a down payment on a partially constructed 6 bedroom house on 3 acres in Puerto Rico. I am scheduled to fly down and close on the house next week.

Although we would absolutely love to talk to each and everyone of you about our recent windfall of money and new house, we are very busy buying new wardrobes, furniture and new cars to send down to our new home in the Caribbean. Diamond Mine Update

I actually have to say this, again, here because of the overwhelming amount of phone calls, emails and text messages I have received. The diamond mine thing was a joke…haha! Just kidding.
